01 / Timing

Most Frankston businesses come to us too late

Local businesses usually start SEO once word of mouth slows down. By then a competitor has spent a year building the rankings you now have to win back. The best time to start is while the phone is still ringing.

For near me searches your Google Business Profile does most of the work. The website decides whether the visitor calls.

Local SEO suits you if customers search nearby

Trades, home services, clinics, hospitality and retail: anyone whose customers look for a business close by.

Look elsewhere if your customers are not local

If you sell nationally online, or your buyers do not search at all, local SEO is the wrong lever.

Around 30 leads a month from search

A plumbing and septic business, where customers pick from the first results they see. SEO brings in organic leads, and a small Google Ads budget catches the urgent jobs.

The client reports around 15 leads a month from SEO and around 15 from Google Ads. Conversion tracking is not configured on that account yet, so these are their figures, not measured ones.

Found on Google without paying for clicks

A concreting business whose work comes from people searching nearby. We improved the existing site inside the SEO retainer and built it around the services and suburbs people actually search for.

Organic search now brings about 92 visits a month, 63% of all traffic. The client reports more than 10 enquiries a month. Conversion tracking is not set up on that site yet, so the enquiry figure is theirs, not a measured one.

03 / How it works

What local SEO actually means

Plenty of agencies promise to “optimise your Google Business Profile”. This is what moves the needle, in the order we do it.

01

Get the site right

Fast, mobile first and clear about what you do and where. A developer works alongside the SEO specialist, inside the retainer.

02

Make calling easy

A click to call button on every page and a short enquiry form. Most local customers decide on their phone.

03

Service and location pages

A proper page for each service and the areas you cover, so Google knows exactly where you work.

04

Google Business Profile and reviews

Categories, services, photos and a steady flow of genuine reviews. For near me searches, this is what ranks.

every login handed over

Your website, your Google Business Profile, your analytics. If you leave, you take all of it.

All figures exclude GST. SEO and Google Ads together: from $2,950 a month. Ad spend for Google Ads or Meta is separate and paid directly to the platform.

06 / Areas we cover

Frankston and the Peninsula

We work with businesses across Frankston, Seaford, Langwarrin, Carrum Downs, Mount Eliza, Somerville and Mornington, and right down the Mornington Peninsula.

Most of those suburbs have too few searches to justify a page of their own, so we cover them properly in your service pages and in your Google Business Profile service area instead.

If you are elsewhere in Melbourne the same work applies. Our SEO Melbourne page covers it.

Questions from local businesses

How much does SEO cost?
SEO packages run $1,450 to $1,950 a month, excluding GST, and include the web development your site needs in order to rank. Where you land depends on how competitive your market is and how much work the site needs. SEO and Google Ads together starts from $2,950 a month.
How long until SEO works?
Expect early movement in three to six months and real momentum after six to twelve. SEO is the foundation: slower to start than ads, but it keeps working without paying for every click.
What is the difference between local and national SEO?
Local SEO wins searches with a place in them, or made nearby, through your Google Business Profile, reviews and location pages. National SEO competes for searches with no location, which is slower and costs more.
Do I need a new website for local SEO?
Not always. Some sites need fixing rather than replacing. Our developer improves the existing site inside the SEO retainer where that is enough, and we will tell you plainly if a rebuild would cost less in the long run.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. There is no lock in contract. If it is not working we would rather fix it or part ways. More than 90 percent of our clients stay anyway, and the average stays past twelve months.
Do I own my website and accounts?
Yes. Every login is handed over and you own everything outright. If you leave, you take the site, the accounts and the history with you.
